What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is, in the simplest terms, training the brain to perform more effectively. This allows a patient, with the guidance of a licensed health professional, to control his or her own brain function and generally improve it. Improving brain function may seem very broad, but the applications of neurofeedback are just as broad as the term. While neurofeedback can be useful for patients who seek to diminish symptoms of various problems centered in the brain, it can also help an unaffected individual to improve their concentration, memory, stress levels, and more.

Why Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback, while not a silver bullet, is a safe and healthy method of therapy which can help reduce or eliminate a patient’s need for medication. It can also be an effective alternative for those patients who are not able to find medicine that works for them, who experience undesirable side effects, or who prefer not to use medications.
